WATERY WATERBLOCKER - WATER SEPARATION WITHIN TUBES

It is possible that the tubes may exhibit a watery separation of ingredients.  The condition occurs more often in 8 ounce tubes and less in 4 ounce tubes.   For this reason, we have discontinued the 8 ounce size.   Jars can exhibit water separation but only when left on their side.  This condition is caused by gravity pulling the water from the cream into the small air pockets that form in tubes when they are squeezed.  This process occurs slowly but can result in a messy blob when you squeeze the tube.

If you want an 8 ounce tube regardless of the separation problem, please call 1-800-863-1438 or email honeyguy@hughes.net requesting the 8 ounce size and we will be happy to fill your order.

We have not found a good way to prevent water separation short of using strong unnatural chemical binders, which we do not want to do.  You can squeeze the contents back and forth to reconstitute.  If this does not work, heat a pan of water to 160 degrees.  Once this temperature is reached, take the pan off the burner and put the tube in the hot water.  Wait about 10 minutes and the cream should be liquified enough so that the tube can be neaded or shaken to re-mix the ingredients.  Let cool and it should be back to normal.

If you need the convenience or the sanitary aspect of a tube, we recommend the 4 ounce tube, but understand that some water separation can still occur even in the 4 ounce size.  Otherwise, the jars will be a better choice.

Be assured, we unconditionally guarantee our products.  We will replace the product or refund the cost, including postage, if you are unhappy with it for ANY REASON.
